I Won’t Tolerate It
Lotsa buzz on the Christmas Day Terrorist - oh, wait … Militant Extremist - who set his crotch on fire aboard an international plane flight to the USofA, as well there should be. Napolitano, who said, in effect, “Trust us Guvvies that we’re in control and the system worked.” Then she changed her mind and said, in effect, “Trust us Guvvies that we’re in control and the system didn’t work.” Then Prez O came out the next day and said that the Guvvies failed … not once did he say it, but 9 times! But, that’s what we all know anyway, right?
The real news was the sound bite, “I won’t tolerate it!” which I’ve heard Prez O say on a few different occasions. The media is not picking up on this. What arrogance! As if he has control over the heads of departments.
Oh, wait … he does. And, they’re all still in place, enrolled in the Capitol Hill Health Plan. Hmmm … But, if the Prez is not tolerating judgement errors from his minion staff, why is he tolerating the following:
- Secretive talks among Dem leaders over health reform when he pledged that legislation would be open to all
- Iran’s continued development of nuclear weapons
- GM’s continuing bailout
- Banks sitting on their money instead of loaning it out
- The bashing of Capitalism
The statement that “I won’t tolerate” should be limited to his pyramidal position with his children, his White House Staff, his Czars and our national defense. They are actually the only ones over which he can properly exercise that statement. Certainly not over Michelle. Certainly not over the Reid and Pelosi. Certainly not over our executive compensation system. Certainly not over same-sex marriage, right-to-life issues or stem cell research.
Oh, wait … he does. Hmmm … He has the bully pulpit after all, right? I’m soooo disappointed.
There is lotsa talk about him and his administration employing Marxist and Socialist philosophies, wherein Government “dictates” what is good for the people, in their current governing. After the anger induced by the accusations clears, what we are left with is … left leanings. Why are we surprised? The press is mesmerized by Prez O’s slick delivery of rhetoric and they aren’t holding his actions to the fire.
I’m a “minimal Government-alist”. Protect me from foreign attack while I and my fellow “We the People”-ites govern ourselves. That’s why we have local, regional and state governments, right?
We shouldn’t tolerate the Big Government telling us what’s good for us. Let’s get busy and let that be known!

On a positive note: George Keller, at 100 years old, is accustomed to being the oldest person in the room. But not for his 100th birthday party. His big brother, Charles, who’s 101, made the trip to Chicago from California.
