Just flew in from Disneyland, and boy are my arms tired! No, I din’t fly, but drove; but I love that Shelley Berman joke. And, I loved spending time with g’kids.
Newt Gingrich has a lot of good ideas, in my view. In a recent article penned by Tim Cameron, he offers 12 American Solutions for Jobs and Prosperity. He forgot to add the creation of a flat tax. But, the first item on the list is a payroll tax break for businesses, designed to give small business owners and employees a break. Another significant milestone was reached today when U.S. troops hand over Baghdad’s Sadr City to the Iraqis. The al-Mahdi militia, led by Muqtada al-Sadr has been observing a cease-fire since mid-2008. U.S. troops, except for support to the Iraqis, are scheduled to be out of Iraq by 2011.
How long are we going to hear the indignation of Ms. Carrie Prejean’s firing as Miss California USA? When asked during the pageant what here opinions about marriage were, rather than give a PC answer, she gave her belief about marriage being between one man and one woman … and she was ultimately fired for it. It was wrong; in injustice; an egregious attack on wholesomeness and individual’s right to state what they believe. But, it happened. The pageant is a privately funded and owned organization; Donald Trump can “fire” someone because he doesn’t like the color of their socks. Let’s move forward, folks.
